POSITION SUMMARY

As a key member of the Smart Bus Technology team, you will be responsible for the completion of tasks related to our NFI Connect® sales presentations, business development strategy, accounts and projects. This will include interaction with customers, development of case-studies, customer retention strategies, marketing and training material, contract and invoicing tracking, review of public bids and business models, expert use of the NFI Connect system and project management.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Acquire and maintain an expert command on the use of our NFI Connect® platform, including a functional understanding of the system's capabilities and limitations.
  • Lead sales presentation initiatives, participate in business discussions and negotiations with potential customers.
  • Manage Smart Bus technology projects, maintaining emphasis in customer retention.
  • Acquire and maintain an expert knowledge of existing bus and coach monitoring solutions and trends.
  • Develop and deliver training and assist with the use of NFI Connect® platform to external and internal customers.
  • Assess customer needs and collaborate in the development of NFI Connect® road map.
  • Develop business models and concepts including pricing structures, payment terms and contractual agreements. Maintain customer contracts and invoice tracking.
  • Interact with vendors and customers on technical and non-technical issues associated with the use of the NFI Connect system.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Post-secondary education in business or related discipline  
  • Two or more years of relevant experience related to essential functions listed above
  • Strong technical aptitude 
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills and effective interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction through building and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Adept with Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong organizational, analytical and time-management skills
  • Ability to perform efficiently and effectively within a team environment and to work independently as required
  • Motivated self-starter with capabilities to work within a fast paced team oriented environment
  • Experience with Telematics or in the transportation industry would be considered an asset
  • Basic knowledge of bus and coach operations and/or maintenance would be considered an asset
